Refresh, rebrand, or regret?
Here’s a Q+A to help guide you.
First, take a good, hard look at your brand.
Your website. Your social media. Your emails. Your print marketing. Do they look and feel exactly how you want them to? Are you proud of what you see?
More importantly, do they accurately reflect who you are, what you do, and the value you bring to your audience? Can someone who has never met you immediately understand what you do, why it matters, and why they should choose you, without you being there to explain, convince, or justify?
If the answer is yes, congrats! (But there’s always room for improvement; my own brand is no exception. If the answer is no, read on.
Will a rebrand help my business grow?
Yes. If you already offer a strong product or service, your brand should reinforce that strength, not weaken it. A strategic brand builds credibility and makes your business feel premium from the first impression.
Is the investment really worth it?
Yes. If you’re growing or ready to grow, it's absolutely worth it. People make snap judgments based on how your brand looks. A strong brand builds trust and allows you to compete at a higher level. A weak one turns off prospects immediately.
Will I love the final result?
Yes. This is a collaborative process. You’re involved from the start; you’ll be involved at key checkpoints with ample revision rounds. The goal is alignment and clarity at every step. You’ll also get guidance on rolling out your new brand across every marketing touchpoint.
Can I use AI for a cheaper solution?
Yes. But there’s a hidden cost. Generic “design” leads to confused messaging, weaker positioning, and missed opportunities. Our work focuses on long-term brand clarity, confidence, and premium perception. I shared my thoughts on AI earlier this year. Read them here.
How long does the process take?
Most projects take between 4 and 6 weeks. If you have a tighter deadline, we can often accommodate it. Every project includes implementation guidance so your brand stays consistent and polished beyond delivery.
Should I wait until my business is bigger?
No. Not if you're serious about growing. Your brand shouldn't reflect where you were, but where you're headed. Many businesses stay stuck because their branding doesn’t match their ambition. A strong brand helps you level up. You can read more about my thoughts on the Cost of Inaction here, and here. (This is the regret part of my email.)
