I have questions. I bet you have answers.
Is your brand working for you or against you?
As the year draws to a close, we are all settling nicely, or frantically, into holiday mode. Like me, most of the business owners I know are reflecting on 2025. What went right, what went wrong, what can I do better, or more of, less of, or not at all, so that 2026 is the best year yet, if that’s what you want.
I have three straightforward questions for you, and I’m pretty sure you already have the answers.
Question 1. Does your brand accurately represent who you are and what you do? When clients, customers, or referrals check you out online, are they impressed and decide, “yes, I want this,” or are they turned off by an outdated, poorly designed site that's unclear about what you offer, how it helps them, and how to get it?
Question 2. Are you getting outperformed by competitors in your space? You know you are better or offer a superior product, but their branding and marketing are better than yours, and they’re winning attention, trust, and business before you ever get a chance.
Question 3. Do you hesitate to share your brand or find yourself apologizing for your website when you send a prospect to it? That’s a red flag. If you’re not excited about and proud of your brand, why would anyone else be?
Here are a few bonus questions. What if things were different? What if your brand and website instantly communicated your value and unique ability? What if you were dominating your industry? What if you had total confidence in your brand and website? What would your business look like? What would your life look like?
If any of this hits close to home, I can help.
P.S. I’m taking my own advice. Check out my NEW Instagram account that currently has just one post. I’ll be sharing branding and marketing insights I’ve picked up over the last few decades of work. Because like you, I’m excited about an awesome 2026, both personally and professionally.
